CAP-TOR Synthetic Deck ScrewsCap-Tor xd is the most versatile and comprehensive deck screw line for Composite and PVC decking. It is available in Epoxy Coated carbon steel all in a wide variety of colors to match popular decking products like Trex®, AZEK®, TimberTech®, and others.

  • Cap-Tor® xd screws are specifically designed to provide a clean, smooth and uniform finish in composite and PVC decking. They also work equally well in traditional composites. Cap-Tor xd is approved for use with all major deck brands.
  • Cap-Tor xd screws feature extra deep star drive recesses, undercut heads, reverse threads, tri-lobular shanks, Type 17 auger tips, and are available with either a color matched, epoxy-based polymer resin coating.
  • Cap-Tor xd is available in a wide range of colors to match popular decking products.

Application and Usage Notes

Pre-drilling: Pre-drilling is not required (except as required by the decking manufacturer).
Perfectly Set Fasteners: To achieve a clean and uniform appearance, with screws set at a perfect and consistent depth below the surface, use the new Smart-Bit Deck Screw Depth Setter.
Corrosion Information: Approved for use with ACQ treated lumber. For applications exposed to salt air, near large bodies of water, swimming pools or other areas where corrosion is more likely to occur, always use Grade 316 stainless steel screws.

The Smart-Bit Depth Setter makes it easy to set Cap-Tor xd to a perfect and consistent depth.
